What to do?

Keep Safe, Keep Warm

 If you have to remain inside the property, move upstairs in good time if you can. If safe to do so, move your car to higher ground.

If you have time, lift items including furniture (such as on top of the dining table, or on top of kitchen counters) and place sentimental and cherished items in a safe and higher place. Roll up any carpet or rugs that are still dry, and tie up or lift curtains.

Turn off water, electricity and gas if advised to.

Check on your neighbours and anybody vulnerable who may need your help.
